Next up on the blog for Winnipeg Wedding Photography…

Stacy & Ryan’s gorgeous summer wedding held in Winnipeg last summer.  Everything about this wedding made it special for us as Winnipeg wedding photographers to document .  From the wedding dress, to the wedding vows, to the wedding reception.  Brock and I LOVED all the unique and personal touches that were made.  The amazing details were all sewn together flawlessly by  this couple and the team at the University of Manitoba, Lead by Maria.  Though the day began with an unexpected illness, which meant the Maid of Honour couldn’t witness their wedding day, Stacy knew her girl would be with them in spirit!

The ceremony moved forward and it truly was an elegant affair!  Stacy stunned everyone as she walked towards the aisle, but no one was more in awe of Stacy, than Ryan!  He’s eyes filled with tears of happiness and love as she approached.  Stacy’s joy was also obvious as they stepped ever closer to their union!  The vows made me smile like an idiot because they were filled to the brim with the love these two shared!  After the beautiful ceremony ended, we headed around the Assiniboine Park for some good old fashioned Winnipeg wedding photography!

Next, we headed to the reception that was superbly prepared by the amazing staff at the University of Manitoba.  The motif and setting were so perfect for this celebration! I almost couldn’t stop myself from taking photos of everything because it was all so pretty 🙂  The evening was filled with touching speeches and a slideshow that allowed the couple, parents, family and friends in the audience to reminisce of times past.  It was an amazing night.  Not that I’m surprised…Stacy & Ryan were an amazing couple to photograph and Brock and I felt privileged to have been invited to this sweet celebration of this super kind couple’s wedding!
