Kristin and Stephen have been a long time coming and it’s actually pretty cool to witness as Winnipeg Photographers how this love story started it’s new adventure. We began our day with at Kristin & Stephen’s new home which they’d been working hard to renovate and might I say, had successfully been able to put their stamp on. Stephen, like most grooms, was excited but pensive about the day they had been planning for months! You could easily sense how much he was looking forward to seeing Kristin in her gown at the end of the isle at the ceremony… that moment would be a moment he’d remember for always.

With that, we headed over to see Kristin. We arrived to a busy house, full of family & best friends. Kristin had nothing but glee written all over her face 🙂 She was ready for this day… The hustle and the bustle all came to a hush as Kristin stepped into her dress. Everyone was quietly smiling at the beautiful bride before us!

As we drove to the ceremony, Kristin and her girls joyfully sang tunes from one of their fave movie soundtracks, Burlesque! It was infectiously funny to see how excited everyone was for Kristin’s wedding day!!! 🙂

“See you guys inside!”…Brock and I quickly set up to be sure to capture the moments when they laid eyes on each other! In walked Kristin and simultaneously, Stephen’s smile grew…they were blissfully happy!

With time and beautiful weather on our side, we took full advantage of both and even had time for studio shots as well. Tonnes of laughs, hugs, and jokes followed us the whole afternoon. Soon it was time to head over to the reception venue. Dang! Winnipeg can sometimes still surprise me with it’s beauty! One thing I seriously love is our sunsets and we totally snuck out of the reception to captured them on the Breezy Bend Golf Course greens 🙂 I know…life on the wild side – haha!

The evening of course, brought more laughs, jokes, and an abundance of love! It was such an experience to watch these two excitedly commit themselves to each other! Thank you Kristin & Stephen for trusting us with your sweet memories! We had a blast at your wedding and we’re thrilled to know that you LOVED you wedding photos :0)
