A Wedding Day no matter how you look at it is such a special day for not just the bride and groom, but for their families as well. Kristin & Dave’s families fit the mould to the tee in that they were all so happy for this wonderful couple. Dave’s parents couldn’t be prouder to have their son, who served in Afghanistan, home and were bursting at the thought that they got to see their son meet his bride at the end of the isle to say their I Do’s…you, it truly was special to witness!

We began our day at the the groom’s family home. The level of anticipation was palpable in such a sweet way! You could see Dave just processing what it was going to be like to finally see his Kristin in her wedding dress! I absolutely love these moments…

Next up, the bride! The room was bustling when we entered. Kristin was going over last minute details before settling into “getting ready” mode…Makeup? Check! Hair touch ups? Check! Time for the dress…and it looked stunning on her. Amazing how a dress finds the bride and the bride finds the dress…it was clear that “these two” were made for each other, LOL!!! Simply lovely is how I remember Kristin on her wedding day.

I knew immediately that when dave saw her, he was gonna be smitten with her beauty, yet again! Time for the First Look: Dave could hear Kristin Stepping closer and closer to him… you could see the emotion, building. Then she touch his shoulder and, wow…witnessing love in such a pure form is so beautiful…The smiles the hugs, the kiss!!!! So infectiously happy these two were to finally see each other on their wedding day 🙂 You instantly felt that they were truly meant to love each other, for better or for worse.

As Kristin walked down the isle with her father, the strength of emotions from the day’s prior events didn’t wane for a second! It was as if he was seeing her and she seeing him, all over again, for the first time. The perfection of the church only added to the magic of the day and to this onlooker, felt like it only enhanced what this devoted couple felt inside. The ceremony was so touching and I personally found that the vows…well lets just say my eyes welled up…a lot!

The rest of the evening was filled with loving speeches, more laughs, fantastic eats courtesy of the Hilton Hotel, and crazy fun with the photobooth!
